What will you be doing?

As a Kitchen Assistant, you'll play an important role in supporting our kitchen team and helping to ensure the kitchen operates smoothly and safely.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Cleaning kitchen equipment, walls, floors, fixtures, fittings and light equipment using the appropriate cleaning products and following the cleaning rota or instructions from the kitchen management team.
• Washing, sorting and safely storing kitchen equipment, utensils and cooking implements.
• Supporting the kitchen team with basic food preparation tasks when required.
• Keeping kitchen areas clean, tidy and organised throughout your shift.
• Following company COSHH and Health & Safety procedures at all times.
• Working as part of a friendly and supportive kitchen team to help maintain a safe and efficient working environment.

What are we looking for?

Previous kitchen experience is helpful but isn't essential. We're looking for people who are reliable, hardworking and willing to learn.

• Able to work efficiently and follow instructions.
• Comfortable working in a busy kitchen environment.
• Willing to carry out a range of cleaning and food preparation duties.
• Positive and happy to support other members of the kitchen team.

• Committed to following food safety, COSHH and Health & Safety procedures.
