What will you be doing?

As a Commis Chef, you'll play an important role in supporting the kitchen team and developing your skills alongside our experienced chefs. You'll work closely with the Head Chef and wider kitchen team to help prepare and deliver great food for our guests.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and producing food as directed by the Head Chef.
• Supporting the implementation of menus and helping with new and existing menu creations.
• Helping to maintain variety and quality across our food offering.
• Working alongside the Head Chef to ensure kitchen equipment is maintained and ready for service.
• Supporting daily stock replenishment when required.
• Helping to maintain required food safety records.
• Following food safety, Health & Safety and other company procedures at all times.
• Keeping kitchen areas clean, organised and ready for service.
• Working as part of a supportive kitchen team and assisting with tasks across the department as required.
• Developing your culinary knowledge and skills through hands-on experience and support from the wider kitchen team.

What are we looking for?

Previous professional kitchen experience is helpful but isn't essential. We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic about food, willing to learn and keen to develop their career in hospitality.

• Willing to learn and take direction from experienced chefs.
• Able to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment.
• Organised and able to manage tasks effectively.

• Positive and willing to support the wider kitchen team.
• Flexible and able to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
