We’re looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Coffee Shop Assistant to join our team and help create a welcoming and enjoyable experience for our guests.

What will you be doing?

As a Coffee Shop Assistant, you'll be one of the friendly faces our guests see during their stay. You'll help create a welcoming atmosphere while providing great customer service and serving a selection of hot drinks and food.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming guests and providing friendly and attentive customer service.
• Taking guest orders accurately and efficiently.
• Preparing and serving hot drinks to a high standard.
• Preparing and serving basic food items.
• Informing guests about the day's specials and other products available.
• Following all Coffee Shop procedures and maintaining high standards of service.
• Keeping the Coffee Shop clean, tidy and welcoming for our guests.
• Working confidently both independently and as part of a team.

What are we looking for?

Previous coffee shop or hospitality experience is helpful but isn't essential. We're looking for people with a positive attitude who enjoy working with people and providing great customer service.

We're looking for people who are:

• Friendly, approachable and confident when speaking with guests.
• Positive and upbeat, with a willingness to get involved.
• Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
• Able to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team.
• Reliable and organised.
• Comfortable working in a busy environment.
• Willing to learn and follow procedures to ensure a consistently high standard of service.

The role includes weekends and bank holidays, with standard Coffee Shop shifts from 11:00am until 4:00pm.
